Mr Jambulingam was attentive and knowledgeable, he left me to decide which Hernia Surgery I would prefer, key hole or open surgery. I opted for open surgery. I was sedated, but awake during the operation. No problems encountered. Returned home after overnight stay in Spire Harpenden. Stitches were sore for a while but the soreness reduced as the days went by. Signed off after six week check up.

Mr Jambulingam recently diagnosed and treated a double hernia for me. I warmed to this surgeon as soon as I met him for initial consultation and he operated on me within 10 days of my initial visit. He gave me a lot of advice and information in a friendly yet business like way and the operation was a great success. I saw him last night for a final resume of the surgery and he went through all the detail and examined me thoroughly. He even had some very detailed pictures of the operation which I found most illuminating. I would have no hesitation in recommending this gentleman as a first class surgeon. I would also like to publicly thank him for all his efforts, well done. I really cannot think of any areas where He could improve on his care, just keep up the good work.

The doctor was attentive at all times, he visited regularly and was considerate to my wishes. The nursing staff were not up to his standard and forgot to give the correct medication when leaving the hospital. The doctor had given good instructions which they did not read correctly. I was taken into HDI because of my other ailments but was warned this would happen but stayed there two days and one day in the clinic. When talking of the inefficient nursing staff they were in the Cobham not in HDI who were great.
